Principal Investigator

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee clinical trials, ensuring compliance with protocols, regulatory standards, and ethical guidelines
• Provide leadership and mentorship to site staff, fostering inclusivity and professionalism
• Participate in investigator meetings and educational initiatives
• Obtain IRB approval for study initiation and protocol modifications
• Oversee subject safety, trial conduct compliance, and the informed consent process
• Communicate with sponsors, monitors, regulators, and network leadership
• Provide ongoing training and support to research staff

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator is a plus
• Active or eligible unencumbered MD/DO license in California
• Board-certified or board-eligible
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements, GCP guidelines, and industry best practices
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
