Principal Investigator

Responsibilities

• Provide overall medical oversight and medical review of protocols in conformance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all study participants at the trial site
• Assess subject response to therapy and evaluate/address adverse experiences
• Perform physical assessments, examinations, and study procedures as required by protocols
• Train Sub-Investigators and study staff on protocol-specific procedures and medical support
• Review inclusion/exclusion criteria, endpoint criteria, and investigational product use with the research team
• Comply with ICH GCP and all applicable regulatory requirements
• Participate in monitoring visits, sponsor meetings, and regulatory inspections

Requirements

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted medical license in the state where research is conducted
• Previous experience as a Principal Investigator is required
• Training and certification in Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and maintain strict confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of prior experience as a Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator
