About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and guide a small team of infrastructure engineers in designing, deploying, and maintaining modern IT infrastructure systems for classified environments.
- Guide minor architectural modifications for upcoming infrastructure projects and oversee the deployment of new projects.
- Function as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Field Support team stationed at customer sites.
- Maintain existing infrastructure projects and ensure system stability.
- Support customer field sites with travel requirements (approximately 20-33% CONUS/OCONUS).
Requirements
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS security clearance with SCI eligibility is required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Experience designing and deploying complex IT systems.
- Deep knowledge of modern IT infrastructure, including Compute, Network, and Storage solutions.
- Experience with Cloud deployment and DevSecOps pipelines.
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux system administration.
- Experience with infrastructure deployments adhering to NIST RMF and JSIG compliance.
- STEM degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 5+ years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI Clearance.
- Experience with HPE compute and storage solutions (3Par, Alletra, Simplivity, Proliant).
- Experience with cloud providers, specifically AWS and Azure.
- Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation product line, deployment, and maintenance.
- Experience working within GitLab CI/CD to deploy DevSecOps pipelines utilizing Helm, Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.
- Experience maintaining USAF Operational Facilities, including AV and Intercom systems.
