Principal Infrastructure Engineer (Cloud & Network)

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design for cloud infrastructure solutions including networking, identity, security, and governance
• Serve as a team lead for a squad of cloud engineers by setting priorities, delegating work, and mentoring staff
• Partner with US-based Cloud Infrastructure teams to align on architecture, standards, and shared roadmaps
• Own infrastructure-as-code patterns using Terraform and manage CI/CD automation
• Drive reliability and operational maturity through incident response leadership, observability, and continuous improvement
• Conduct technical reviews, audits, and assessments to ensure accurate and actionable documentation

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure or platform engineering
• Significant expertise with Microsoft Azure
• Proven experience in technical leadership or team lead roles, including mentoring and delivery planning
• Strong proficiency with Terraform for IaC and reusable modules
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Ansible, or PowerShell
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field (or equivalent experience)
• Excellent English communication skills for collaborating across global time zones

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS or AliCloud
• Knowledge of cloud security and governance controls like policy-as-code and network segmentation
• Familiarity with ITSM/ITIL practices and Jira Service Manager
