Principal Information Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide cybersecurity compliance guidance for the production and procurement of Test Equipment (TE)
• Support flight test capabilities and processes for Raytheon test systems
• Develop cybersecurity compliant test equipment across Linux, iOS, and Windows platforms
• Install software packages and updates to enhance production hardware operations
• Troubleshoot production and development test equipment to ensure connectivity, functionality, and test integrity
• Collaborate with Digital Technologies and Cybersecurity teams to integrate equipment into controlled networks using tools like Nessus, Splunk, and Ivanti

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
• Experience with systems administration of Linux, Networking, and/or Windows in desktop or server environments
• Experience with user account management, software installation, and technical customer support
• Proven ability to independently solve hardware and software issues
• Active DoD Secret security clearance required on day one

Preferred Qualifications

• Master of Science degree in a STEM field
• DoD 8570.01m IAT II certified credentials (e.g., Sec+, CISM, CySA+)
• Experience working in a DoD Special Access Programs (SAP) environment
• Experience with network infrastructure including Active Directory, group policy, NIS, and DNS
• Experience with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare, Hyper-V, vCenter, or vSphere
