Principal Information Security Analyst

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute security controls, defenses, and countermeasures to prevent internal or external attacks.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize endpoint and perimeter security solutions including DLP, EDR, SIEM, and SASE.
• Analyze security logs, alerts, and telemetry to detect anomalies and potential threats.
• Manage CSPM and CASB technologies across various cloud platforms.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, performing root cause analysis and developing mitigation procedures.
• Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments of applications, operating systems, and networks.
• Partner with GRC teams to enhance risk management, compliance, and governance processes.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience with security configuration and monitoring using tools such as Zscaler, SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, Proofpoint, Mimecast, or Splunk.
• Strong understanding of identity governance, access provisioning, and least privilege principles.
• Ability to work with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, GIAC, or Security+.
• Experience with cloud security, zero trust architecture, and security automation (Python, PowerShell).
• Familiarity with security risk management frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS.
• Experience with GRC platforms such as Archer or OneTrust.
