Principal Industry Strategist

Responsibilities

• Own and lead structured industry discovery with insurance carriers to identify high-value problems
• Define and recommend major product investment bets in partnership with Product and leadership
• Develop and maintain repeatable frameworks for evaluating industry opportunities and ecosystem partnerships
• Serve as the primary external industry authority for Service and Billing through publications and conferences
• Influence long-range product and ecosystem strategy by translating market trends and competitive intelligence
• Establish cross-functional fluency in customer service challenges across Product, Marketing, and Sales

Requirements

• 8-10+ years of experience in P&C insurance strategy, product strategy, or industry advisory roles
• Deep expertise in P&C insurance service operations, strategy, and performance metrics
• Proven track record of influencing enterprise-level investment decisions
• Strong analytical rigor using data and ROI frameworks
• Excellent storytelling and communication skills for executive-level engagement
• Familiarity with AI-driven applications or digital transformation within insurance
