Principal Industry Advisor - Retail, CPG & Manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Define and develop the strategic direction for the Retail, CPG, and Manufacturing industry practice
• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to drive pipeline growth and revenue expansion
• Engage directly with C-suite and business unit leaders to understand strategic priorities and business challenges
• Shape the industry practice’s portfolio of offerings, capabilities, and market positioning
• Create thought leadership, including white papers, industry points of view, and executive briefing materials
• Partner with sales, marketing, and product teams to align industry strategy with commercial objectives
• Act as an industry expert in client pursuits, workshops, and innovation forums

Requirements

• Significant experience in retail, consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, consulting, or technology services
• Deep understanding of industry operating models, value chains, and executive priorities
• Proven ability to engage senior client stakeholders in strategic and commercial conversations
• Experience developing go-to-market strategies or industry-specific solution portfolios
• Strong executive presence and exceptional communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex business challenges into strategic recommendations

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a senior industry advisory, strategy consulting, or practice leadership role
• Experience advising Fortune 500 or large enterprise clients
• Familiarity with technology-enabled transformation (AI, analytics, cloud, IoT, or digital commerce)
• Established professional network within the retail, CPG, or manufacturing ecosystems
