Principal Incident Responder

Fluidstack is building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI. We are singularly focused on delivering 10 to 100s of GWs of compute faster than anyone else, rethinking every layer of the stack from power acquisition to data center design and operation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the most senior incident commander, running material incidents across detection, response, physical security, data center operations, legal, communications, and customers
• Build the IR program from the ground up, including runbook standards, severity definitions, and post-incident review cadence
• Define the agent-human contract for response, including escalation criteria and evidence packages
• Design and operate the senior-IR on-call rotation and remain an active senior IC
• Turn incident trends into systemic fixes and drive cross-functional remediation to completion
• Set the tabletop and exercise cadence and manage external face of IR for regulatory and customer disclosure obligations

Requirements

• Experience running material incidents as the most senior commander at companies with sophisticated threat models
• Experience making disclosure-grade calls under regulatory and customer reporting clocks
• Proven ability to write and iterate on technical runbooks
• Experience building operational processes from scratch
• Ability to move fluently between technical containment and executive, legal, and customer conversations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with incidents bridging cyber, physical, and OT/ICS
• Background in critical-infrastructure, data center, or industrial environments
• Experience with agent-augmented IR and tuning LLM-based systems
