Principal I, ERP Business Analysis

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP Finance and controlling module implementation and roll-out projects in an international environment
• Perform detailed process analysis, design, and system architecture to meet technology standards
• Drive alignment between business stakeholders and technical solutions
• Manage Record to Report (R2R) processes, including month-end processing, journal entry workflows, and revenue recognition (RAR)
• Oversee asset accounting, investment management, and profitability analysis (CO-PA)
• Support inter-company topics including supply chain accounting flows, service invoicing, and matching/reconciliation
• Ensure solution quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery of system enhancements

Requirements

• CA, CPA, or Master’s degree in commerce/accounting
• 6-10 years of experience in SAP Finance/controlling module implementation or roll-out projects
• Proven expertise in Record to Report (R2R) and month-end close management
• Strong knowledge of Asset Accounting and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
• Experience with account reconciliation tools such as Blackline
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and complex problem-solving skills
• Ability to work shifts from 12 PM to 8 PM IST
• Willingness to travel up to 10% based on business needs

Preferred Qualifications

• In-house consulting experience
• Knowledge of tax regulations in the Asia or Americas regions
• Understanding of master data settings for Materials, GL, profit centers, and cost centers
