Principal HR Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end employee lifecycle activities across France and Germany, including onboarding, transfers, and offboarding
• Manage and coordinate French Works Council (CSE) activities, including consultation requirements and stakeholder management
• Provide guidance to managers on employee relations, local employment practices, and disciplinary actions
• Ensure local compliance with French and German labor laws and employment regulations
• Maintain employee records and HRIS data accuracy (Workday preferred)
• Support payroll preparation by managing employee data and variable payroll inputs
• Manage administrative aspects of the French training plan and coordinate occupational health processes
• Analyze HR data to provide operational insights and track key metrics

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or Employee Relations
• Proven expertise in independently managing French Works Council/CSE processes
• Robust working knowledge of French labor law
• Experience supporting HR operations and employee lifecycle activities in Germany
• Proficiency with HRIS systems, preferably Workday
• Fluency in both French and English (written and verbal)
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within multinational and matrixed organizations
• Fluency in German
