About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior advisor and technical architect for enterprise GCP security engagements.
- Lead secure Google Cloud architecture design and reviews covering IAM, networking, workload protection, and data protection.
- Conduct Google Cloud security posture assessments to identify risks, misconfigurations, and control gaps.
- Advise customers on Google SecOps, Chronicle, SIEM strategy, and cloud telemetry.
- Guide clients through the implementation and operationalization of Security Command Center and SCC Enterprise.
- Advise on Vertex AI and AI workload security, including identity, access control, and governance.
- Develop executive-ready findings, remediation roadmaps, and maturity-based security improvement plans.
- Mentor consultants and contribute to the development of repeatable methodologies and reference architectures.
Requirements
- 8 years of security consulting experience with at least 4 years specifically as a Google Cloud consultant.
- Deep expertise in GCP security architecture, including IAM, networking, logging, and monitoring.
- Proven track record of delivering cloud security architecture and posture modernization outcomes.
- Experience working within regulatory frameworks such as FedRAMP, FISMA, HIPAA, HITRUST, or PCI.
- Strong ability to translate technical security findings into actionable business risks for senior leadership.
- Excellent documentation skills for creating architecture diagrams, assessment reports, and implementation plans.
Preferred Qualifications
- Google Cloud certifications such as Professional Cloud Security Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect, or Professional Security Operations Engineer.
- Hands-on experience with Wiz (CNAPP, CSPM) and Google SecOps/Chronicle.
- Experience with Vertex AI security and AI governance.
- Proficiency with Terraform or related cloud security automation tools.
