Principal General Technologist - Cyber Physical Technologist

Responsibilities

• Develop, build, modify, repair, or maintain laboratory equipment, servers, and interfaces for cyber testing
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks and recommend improvements to increase productivity and effectiveness
• Use various sample preparation tools and approaches to solve complex problems related to national security
• Work with technical staff as part of a critical problem-solving team with minimal supervision
• Ensure lab compliance with security and Environmental, Safety, and Health (ES&H) requirements
• Maintain necessary documentation and perform work in a safe, compliant manner

Requirements

• High school diploma plus five (5) or more years of directly related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in electric power, energy, industrial, manufacturing, or intelligence-related fields
• Experience with rack configuration, build-up, and wiring for operational technology test assembly setups
• Active DOE Q-level security clearance or equivalent (e.g., DOD Top Secret)
• Ability to work onsite in Albuquerque, NM

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with server administration, networking, and Linux systems
• Proficiency with scripting and automation tools such as Python or BASH
• Experience configuring, managing, and maintaining servers
• History of mentoring and training other members of the workforce
• Ability to write operating procedures, methods of analysis, and laboratory procedures
