Principal Funds Product Specialist

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design of fund flows including fiat deposits, withdrawals, refunds, and channel settlement cycles
• Abstract complex fund logic into standardized workflows, rule-based engines, and reusable product capabilities
• Design and build company-level reconciliation systems covering internal vs channel reconciliation and exception detection
• Drive continuous improvement in auto-reconciliation rates and reduction of manual intervention
• Partner with Engineering, Finance, Risk, and Compliance to evolve fund-related systems for scalability and risk control
• Lead automation initiatives to systematically reduce manual operations through process and rule engine standardization

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of product management experience
• 3+ years of experience specifically in funds, payments, settlement, clearing, or fintech infrastructure
• Solid system-level understanding of fund flows, settlement logic, and reconciliation mechanisms
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and data-driven decision-making
• Strong ability to convert manual, people-driven operations into automated system rules

Preferred Qualifications

• Background working with crypto exchanges, payment institutions, or clearing/settlement platforms
• Experience building reconciliation or settlement systems from 0 to 1
• Familiarity with audit, internal control, and fund compliance frameworks
