About the role

Responsibilities

  • Drive the full SDLC for Azure solutions, including planning, requirement definition, development, testing, and quality assurance.
  • Design and build containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes/AKS, alongside cloud-native data stores like Mongo and SQL.
  • Develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems using Service Bus and Event Hubs with secure integration standards (OAuth2/OIDC).
  • Build responsive, cloud-connected front-end interfaces using React, TypeScript, and SignalR.
  • Design and deliver AI-enabled capabilities, including document intelligence and Azure OpenAI-based workloads.
  • Configure and optimize CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code using Bicep/ARM or Terraform.
  • Partner with senior IT and business stakeholders to own the platform narrative, adoption strategy, and delivery roadmap.
  • Mentor cross-functional teams on cloud-native and AI best practices.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of overall IT experience with a proven track record of architecting scalable cloud solutions.
  • 12+ years of .NET (C#) development, specifically with ASP.NET Core, Web API, and Entity Framework Core.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, AKS, APIM, etc.).
  • 5+ years of experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS) and Azure DevOps/CI/CD.
  • Practical, recent experience (within the last 24 months) delivering AI/GenAI workloads on Azure (Azure OpenAI, AI Search, etc.).
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (Mandatory).
  • English C2 proficiency.
  • Experience in regulated environments such as financial services or investment management is strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure AI Engineer Associate.
  • Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS or GCP).
  • Proficiency in Terraform, Python, or Databricks.
  • Experience establishing self-service platforms for citizen developers.
