About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and engine event investigations for the PW4000/2000 engine family, focusing on Fan, Compressors, Mechanical Systems, and Nacelle.
- Collaborate with global airline customers and Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) shops to resolve operational challenges.
- Lead root cause investigations and provide expert guidance on troubleshooting, service bulletin retrofits, and engine manual interpretation.
- Develop and oversee technical documentation, including Engineering Authorizations (EAs), Special Instructions, and updates to Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM).
- Serve as a technical liaison to Product Safety, Certification & Validation teams and airframer teams.
- Triage urgent Aircraft-On-Ground (AOG) requests to provide timely solutions for fleet operations.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and proposing innovative support processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- 8+ years of Engineering experience (or 5+ years with an advanced degree).
- U.S. citizenship is required for access to specific program information.
- Ability to work occasional weekends and off-hours to support critical operations.

- Experience in airline field support.
- Direct experience with engine or aircraft maintenance.
