About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as the product quality liaison between plant quality teams and functions such as Service, Product Management, and Operations
- Own and analyze Service Call (SCR) data to provide visibility into customer issues and prevent future quality defects
- Track and communicate product performance in the field, including warranty, damage, and insurance metrics
- Facilitate communication of customer concerns and trends to all functions, including the shop floor
- Analyze SCR and Cost of Quality (COQ) data to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Manage Quality Holds from issuance to resolution and coordinate efficient rework procedures
- Develop and maintain case-based reasoning for "Save the Call" performance and customer education content
- Serve as a key liaison between the factory, Field Service Technicians, and Customer Relations
Requirements
- BS Technical degree or comparable experience
- 7+ years of recent experience in high-volume manufacturing, operations, or a quality role
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and advanced computer skills
- Detailed knowledge of SAS warranty analytics tools
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and project management experience
- Proven ability to influence change and communicate effectively across cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification
- Quality leadership experience
- Knowledge of ISO9001-2015 certification
- Experience and training in lean manufacturing practices
- Experience with highly automated appliance or automotive manufacturing processes
