Principal Failure Analysis Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze and report on a variety of semiconductor products, with a specific focus on Power Management for AI applications
• Utilize package and non-destructive techniques including Curve tracer, X-ray, and SAM
• Perform image-based isolation techniques such as Photon Emission Microscopy, OBIRCh, and Thermal emission
• Use bench equipment to power up and characterize fault symptoms
• Execute deprocessing techniques including wet chemistry, polishing, and plasma
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and layouts to support failure investigations

Requirements

• 10-15 years of experience in semiconductor device failure analysis
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Proven failure analysis experience specifically with Power Management products
• Proficiency in electrical isolation and physical failure analysis techniques
• Strong understanding of diode and transistor functionality
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis (sponsorship is not available)
