Principal Faculty-Didactic

Responsibilities

• Deliver curriculum content for the Physician Assistant program
• Participate in program operations as required by the ARC-PA accrediting body
• Engage in teaching and scholarly activities to support program excellence

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant training program
• NCCPA certification
• Current Tennessee licensure or eligibility for Tennessee licensure
• Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies
• Minimum of two years of full-time clinical experience as a Physician Assistant
• Strong oral, written, organizational, and computer skills
• Willingness to obtain a doctoral degree in a field related to medical science

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in a field related to medical science or education
• Teaching experience in classroom and clinical settings, preferably in higher education
• One year of didactic teaching experience
• Evidence of potential for excellence in teaching and scholarly activity
