Principal Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical advisor to leadership to develop and influence applications, network, and security technologies
• Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex technical challenges across the enterprise
• Architect scalable, secure, and innovative cloud-native solutions and modernize legacy systems
• Design microservices-based payment solutions and develop integration strategies for APIs and third-party services
• Mentor senior engineers and promote best practices in coding, design, and architecture
• Drive the adoption of real-time, API-driven, and cloud-native platforms

Requirements

• 7+ years of Engineering experience
• 6+ years of programming experience in Java, Python, or similar languages
• Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven architecture
• Knowledge of API design, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with GenAI, Agentic AI, Co-pilot, and automation technologies
• Experience leading migration projects from legacy systems to modern architectures
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to influence technical decisions and drive consensus across cross-functional teams
