Principal Engineer, Verification & Validation

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic New Product Development (NPD) activities and sustain legacy BardyDx products through automated and manual testing.
• Author test procedures and implement test plans for WebApp frontend, Middleware, and Back-end components.
• Develop modular test suites, reusable test scripts, and libraries using BDD and TDD techniques.
• Collaborate with multi-site V&V and DevOps teams to integrate test infrastructure into DevOps pipelines.
• Execute manual and exploratory testing to ensure complete software module coverage.
• Derive Verification & Validation results, traceability matrices, and quality metrics.
• Drive the application of SDLC principles and methodologies such as IEC 62304, Lean, and Agile.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8-14 years of proven experience in testing WebApps and PC Applications.
• Hands-on experience with Cucumber (JavaScript + Selenium), Test Café, or Robot framework (Python + Selenium).
• Proficiency in JavaScript or Python.
• Extensive experience with Azure DevOps for continuous integration.
• Strong working knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Experience formulating Test Strategies and V&V Plans for cloud-based products (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the healthcare domain.
• Experience testing mobile applications.
• Proficiency in C or C++.
• Experience with code quality tools such as Coverity or Fortify.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity testing methodologies.
