Principal Engineer - UI/UX

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the UI/UX team and define software architecture
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify complexity and risks in advanced visualization products
• Translate wireframes into functional requirements and write reusable, high-performance UI component code
• Work with design and product management to create elegant, responsive, and interactive interfaces
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability across diverse devices
• Coach and mentor team members while maintaining high ethical standards

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• 7 to 10 years of experience in responsive, cross-browser front-end development
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Hands-on experience with ReactJS, D3.js, and various MVC frameworks
• Experience with Map APIs such as Google Maps or Openstreetmap
• Familiarity with UX processes and design principles
• Proven leadership in driving large-scale projects within an Agile SDLC
• Excellent communication, judgment, and decision-making skills
