Principal Engineer (TLM) – Snowflake Feature Store

Responsibilities

• Drive the multi-year technical roadmap for online feature serving and real-time infrastructure
• Contribute directly to the codebase and tackle complex distributed systems bugs
• Architect streaming pipelines and stateful processing systems for enterprise-scale ML features
• Establish engineering standards for high availability, performance, and observability
• Manage and mentor a team of high-performing engineers, including Staff+ levels
• Take operational accountability for the performance and reliability of customer-facing features

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience building massive-scale distributed systems or data infrastructure
• Proven track record in technical leadership and people management for cloud services
• Deep mastery of distributed systems fundamentals, fault tolerance, and consistency models
• Extensive experience with large-scale streaming systems and real-time data platforms
• Strong understanding of feature engineering workflows or model serving infrastructure
• Ability to influence technical direction across multiple teams and executive stakeholders
