Principal Engineer, Test

Responsibilities

• Lead software verification and validation (V&V) activities for medical device products, including WebApp frontend, middleware, and back-end components.
• Implement automated test strategies using BDD and TDD methodologies to develop modular test suites and reusable libraries.
• Collaborate with global R&D, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to integrate test infrastructure into Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Author comprehensive test plans, procedures, and traceability matrices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality goals.
• Perform manual and exploratory testing to ensure complete coverage of software modules.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and escalating product quality issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 7-12 years of experience in testing WebApps and PC applications.
• Proficiency in JavaScript or Python.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, or Postman.
• Extensive experience with Azure DevOps and working within Agile methodologies.
• Strong understanding of Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the healthcare or medical device industry.
• Experience with Test café or Robot framework.
• Knowledge of C or C++.
• Experience with mobile application testing.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity testing methodologies.
• Experience using code quality tools like Coverity or Fortify.
