Principal Engineer – Software

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic technical leadership and architectural vision for the entire revenue management platform to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Analyze customer requirements to develop mediation and billing strategies and delivery roadmaps aligned with E2E architecture.
• Take ownership of the configuration for new offers and network integrations.
• Represent the revenue management domain regarding the technical implementation of billing, mediation, and charging initiatives.
• Create and maintain user stories to implement robust and resilient technical solutions.
• Advise Product Owners and Scrum Masters on individual development tasks and user stories.
• Support and communicate with product owners, testers, and other platform engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a closely related field.
• 12 years of experience in the Telecommunications industry, including work with Tier 1 or Tier 2 operators.
• 6 years of experience in architecture and solution design within the BSS/OSS domain, including network-facing application integration.
• 4 years of experience with mediation platforms (e.g., DigitalRoute MediationZone, CSG Intermediate, Openet, Nokia SPS).
• 4 years of experience with billing platforms (e.g., Amdocs, Oracle).
• 4 years of experience planning and managing small teams of technical and functional Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
