Principal Engineer, Service Delivery

Responsibilities

• Manage and support end-to-end data protection environments including PPDM, NetWorker, and Data Domain
• Act as a technical leader and L3 escalation point for troubleshooting, incidents, and major escalations
• Ensure strict SLA adherence regarding backups, restores, and disaster recovery readiness
• Lead critical customer engagements, including system upgrades, migrations, and performance optimization
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to global teams and customers to drive operational excellence

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience with Dell EMC Data Protection (PPDM, NetWorker, Data Domain)
• Strong expertise in backup and recovery for VMware, Oracle, and SQL environments
• Proven track record in troubleshooting and incident management
• Hands-on experience with migrations, upgrades, disaster recovery (DR), and capacity planning
• Working knowledge of ITIL processes, specifically Incident, Change, and Problem management

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications in PPDM, NetWorker, Data Domain, or ITIL
• Practical exposure to cloud and hybrid environments
• Experience with storage and virtualization technologies
