Principal Engineer-Quality

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary quality liaison between suppliers, customers, and internal teams
• Resolve quality issues, lead corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Inspect and verify the conformance of raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods
• Report on quality metrics and non-conformances while recommending process improvements
• Conduct internal and supplier audits to ensure compliance with ISO9001 and company standards
• Support new supplier onboarding and AS9102 First Article Inspections
• Visit suppliers and customers to assess quality performance and gather feedback
• Deliver training to staff to promote a quality-focused culture across the organization

Requirements

• US Citizenship Required (ITAR Site)
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent
• 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with ISO9001 requirements
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
