Principal Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive software engineering excellence in embedded systems, driver development, and SoC architectures
• Design, implement, and review code for high performance and security
• Coordinate across development, technology, and test engineering teams
• Lead system-level design and architecture initiatives
• Perform low-level software interface development and debugging

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience
• Proficiency in C and C++
• Experience with SoC architectures and embedded software development

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Python and system-level design/architecture
• Professional experience in embedded software, driver development, or systems engineering on Linux, Android, or QNX
• Knowledge of SoC architectures, heterogeneous IPs, and peripheral busses (SPI, USB, I2C, etc.)
• Experience with industry-standard tools including HSW/HE debuggers, GIT, Gerrit, or Perforce
• Experience in BSP development, low-level device driver programming, and boot optimizations
• Background in Secure Coding and Machine Learning
