Principal Engineer - QE

Responsibilities

• Lead the definition and setup of a best-in-class digital platform by designing test strategies and automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams on test design, implementation, and feature testability.
• Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, requirements traceability, and automated test reports.
• Define strategies for system-level testing, test optimization, and end-to-end (E2E) scenarios.
• Communicate product quality status and testing snapshots to various levels of the organization.
• Perform ad hoc, exploratory, accessibility, internationalization, and localization testing to identify defects.
• Manage defect tracking and regression testing to ensure continuous product excellence.

Requirements

• 10-15 years of experience in Quality Engineering.
• Strong expertise in AEM QA and automation of web-based applications, specifically within finance or commerce domains.
• Proven experience working in Cloud environments (AWS, Azure) using microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in Core Java and experience designing Data, Keyword Driven, or Hybrid Test Automation Frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with UI Automation using Selenium and API testing (REST/SOAP).
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance using tools like Jenkins.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with build tools (Maven, ANT), SCM tools (Git), and collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence).
• Expertise in database testing, messaging queues, and troubleshooting/debugging complex systems.
