Principal Engineer Product Engineering

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive cost reduction strategies to achieve significant COBM% improvements
• Direct operational infrastructure improvements to boost efficiency and reduce systemic quality issues
• Lead Fab, Assembly, and Test offloads, including the successful bring-up of new process flows
• Deliver entitlement cost analysis and competitive solutions to meet aggressive pricing needs
• Implement a comprehensive framework for managing customer returns and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in operations, engineering, and quality to drive systemic fixes
• Analyze data to identify optimization areas, refine test protocols, and eliminate capacity bottlenecks

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Operations, or a relevant field
• 8+ years of experience in operations management, cost reduction, and process improvement
• Proven track record of delivering significant cost reductions (5-30% COBM% improvement)
• Strong understanding of operational infrastructure, test/manufacturing processes, and quality management systems
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with customer returns management
• Advanced experience with quality management systems
