Principal Engineer, Product Development Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead product development initiatives from pre-silicon design through full qualification
• Develop comprehensive test strategies, test flows, and screening methodologies for wafer testing
• Conduct electrical and functional failure analysis to identify root causes and define corrective actions
• Collaborate with design, device, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve technical challenges
• Define product specifications, test algorithms, and stress screening methods
• Monitor product quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Partner with system and firmware teams to enhance product resilience
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in product development engineering
• Expertise in troubleshooting and electrical failure analysis methodologies
• Strong analytical and statistical data interpretation skills
• Experience with product lifecycle management from design to production
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
• Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities
• Knowledge of AI tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Experience in semiconductor or memory product development (Wafer Development)
• Familiarity with system architecture, firmware principles, and device physics
• Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT)
• Experience with quality metrics such as DPPM evaluation
• Experience with advanced testing and characterization equipment
