Principal Engineer, Product Development Engineering

Responsibilities

• Define and execute long-term vision for front-end wafer test coverage
• Develop long-range initiatives for yield, quality, reliability, and cost efficiency
• Champion disruptive design-for-test and design-for-debug methodologies
• Oversee wafer test development from NPI through mass production
• Align hardware solutions with organizational requirements and manage vendor relationships
• Design flexible and reliable hardware and software test infrastructure
• Investigate qualification and yield issues to implement corrective actions
• Transform test data into actionable insights for design and manufacturing teams
• Lead technical reviews and serve as a subject-matter expert

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• 8+ years of experience in memory, storage, or system-level product, test, or validation engineering

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering
• Deep understanding of simulation, emulation, and manufacturing processes
• Experience with functional and stress testing using oscilloscopes and protocol analyzers
• Proficiency in C, C++, and Python
• Knowledge of NAND, DDR, LPDDR, GDDR, HBM, and PCIe protocols
• Experience with Advantest or Teradyne Automated Test Equipment platforms
• Background in firmware development and test software architecture
• Specialization in DRAM/NAND and SSD storage technologies
