Principal Engineer, Product Design Validation

Responsibilities

• Perform post silicon design validation, circuit issue debug, circuit characterization, and mask judge in collaboration with global design teams
• Execute 3D NAND trim validation for component, iNAND, cSS, and eSS product lines
• Develop and implement tests for NAND memory characterization on ATE platforms
• Manage all aspects of testing including debug, validation, correlation, and revision control
• Improve test methods and design of test hardware
• Assess 3D NAND memory using knowledge of logic, analog, performance, power consumption, timing, and reliability
• Develop software tools for development, data analysis, and reporting
• Organize silicon evaluation plans and secure project schedules
• Customize test coverage and define new test strategies for customers

Requirements

• In-depth understanding of logic, analog, or memory IC
• Strong skills in test program development on mainstream ATE
• Proficiency in C++ and C programming languages
• Familiarity with lab equipment such as digital scopes and logic analyzers
• Experience with scripting languages
• Proficiency in written and verbal English
• BS/MS degree in an engineering field
• 2-10 years of relevant experience
