About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead customer engagement activities to define new ATE product concepts and requirements
- Manage design-in successes for Device Power Supply (DPS) products by providing innovative solutions to customer challenges
- Analyze product evaluation and reliability test data to identify and debug silicon issues
- Design and execute evaluation test methods to characterize new silicon performance across various environmental conditions
- Prepare evaluation hardware, diagnostic programs, and test fixtures for new products
- Contribute to product datasheets and create design-in tools such as demonstration systems and technical literature
- Develop and participate in technical training for customers, field application engineers, and sales teams
Requirements
- Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (PhD preferred) with 7-10 years of relevant experience
- Experience with switching DC/DC converters, analog circuits, and semiconductor IC processes
- Proficiency in PCB schematic entry and layout design, preferably using Cadence ALLEGRO
- Experience with SPICE circuit simulators such as LTSPICE
- Proficiency in high-level software languages including LabVIEW, C#, C, Python, or MATLAB
- Familiarity with electronic test equipment including Oscilloscopes, Frequency Signal Generators, and Spectrum Analyzers
- Ability to travel within the US and occasionally to Europe and Asia for customer engagement
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of loop compensation (poles, zeros, bandwidth, phase margin)
- Experience with ATE products such as pin drivers, comparators, or parametric measurement units (PPMU)
- Background in system engineering
