About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop system-level power solutions and reference designs using high-performance power products to solve complex industry engineering challenges.
- Support power requirements in customer applications across various markets, focusing on Power Conversion, Multiphase Controllers, and PoL.
- Provide recommendations on new power product features, topologies, control algorithms, and feature sets to meet customer needs.
- Create technical collateral, including documentation and system-level reference designs, to support strategic market initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with internal design teams, FAEs, and customers to deliver integrated power system solutions.
Requirements
- BSEE required; MSEE or equivalent strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of industry experience with system-level power management products and applications.
- Deep understanding of power electronics and power supply design, including isolated and non-isolated DC/DC converters.
- Detailed knowledge of analog circuit design for signal chains, analog front ends, ADCs, and DACs.
- Strong lab test and measurement skills with proficiency in using oscilloscopes, electronic loads, and spectrum/network analyzers.
- Proficiency with lab software such as Python or LabView.
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to travel (approximately 10%) to meet with customers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience with low-voltage, high-current power applications in mixed-signal environments.
- Hands-on experience with PCB layout design, fabrication, and electronic assembly practices.
- Experience with high voltage/high power lab safety measures and testing disciplines.
