Principal Engineer - Pipeline

Responsibilities

• Manage onshore pipeline design integrity and execution for large-scale projects
• Prepare and check FEED and detailed design pipeline scopes and related deliverables
• Perform pipeline mechanical calculations and stress analysis using CAESAR II and AutoPipe
• Develop pipeline specialty item specifications, data sheets, material requisitions, and TBEs
• Prepare and check pipeline drawings including alignment sheets, route maps, and isometrics
• Oversee pipeline construction specifications, external coating, and scope of work for construction
• Manage vendor documents for specialty items such as scraper launchers, receivers, and valves
• Conduct technical reviews for route selection and valve station locations

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in feasibility, conceptual, basic engineering, FEED, detailed design, and EPC/EPCM projects
• Extensive experience with Pipeline Basis of Design, alignment sheets, and material grade calculations
• Proficiency in discipline-specific software including CAESAR II, AutoPipe, AutoCAD, and MathCAD
• Deep knowledge of international pipeline codes, standards, and corrosion control plans
• Proven ability to perform technical evaluations of vendors related to pipeline ancillaries and equipment
