About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead SOC validation and drive the team toward successful product validation and issue debugging
- Develop and implement detailed validation test plans and methodologies to ensure comprehensive coverage
- Create test cases, environments, and automation scripts using Python
- Utilize hardware and software tools including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and traffic generators
- Collaborate with design, DV, Analog, and Firmware teams to root-cause and resolve technical issues
- Document test plans, results, and validation coverage reports for stakeholders
- Develop scripts and web-based tools to automate validation tests and diagnostic data collection
Requirements
- B.Tech. or M.Tech. in Electronics or Computer Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in silicon validation with leadership experience in SOCs or mixed-signal/digital ICs
- Hands-on experience debugging communication peripherals, memory interfaces, and system-level validation
- Expertise with pre-silicon platforms
- Proficiency in C programming and Python scripting for test automation
