Principal Engineer II - Piping Layout

Responsibilities

• Execute and deliver assigned Piping Work Packages, including plant/cold box layout, piping basic and detailed design, and stress calculations
• Review and comment on engineering documents such as P&IDs and mechanical designs established by process teams or subcontractors
• Modify drawings and technical documents based on review sheet suggestions
• Provide technical requirements to the procurement team for materials requisition
• Establish basic and detailed piping drawings in accordance with design and construction codes
• Support proposal development by providing technical solutions and quantity estimates
• Provide site assistance to address and resolve site queries
• Coordinate and collaborate with other discipline specialist engineers and project support functions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 11+ years of experience in Piping Layout
• Proficiency in PDS, Smartplant SP3D, Navisworks, Microstation, and AutoCAD
• Ability to implement technical standards and regulations
• Possession of a junior technical engineer certificate or above
