Principal Engineer I - Civil & Structural

Responsibilities

• Act as the discipline lead engineer for various proposals and projects, ensuring delivery within contractual frameworks, quality standards, and schedules.
• Execute engineering designs in compliance with Discipline and Job Manuals to fulfill all contractual requirements.
• Perform analysis and design of structures, including structural steel connections, pile foundations, soil-supported foundations, and dynamic foundations for compressors, motors, and fans.
• Manage and coordinate soil studies, topographical, and geotechnical surveys.
• Support technical procurement activities and review/approve vendor documents applicable to the civil and structural discipline.
• Provide site assistance by responding to technical queries and supporting erection activities.
• Contribute to change management, cost optimization, and the implementation of safety principles and lessons learned.
• Estimate construction quantities and manage them throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• MTech / ME / BTech / BE in Civil and Structural Engineering.
• 11-15 years of experience in EPC or detail design engineering.
• Proven experience working within the Oil & Gas, Energy, Refining, or Petrochemical sectors.
• Proficiency in STAAD Pro, Auto-CAD, MS Office, and Navisworks or Smart Plant Review.
• Strong ability to analyze data, anticipate challenges, and manage interdisciplinary workflows.
• Commitment to promoting a culture of safety and high-quality engineering standards.
