Principal Engineer, HBM Design Quality Management

Responsibilities

• Maintain continuous audit readiness for HBM Engineering and serve as the primary technical spokesperson during internal and external audits.
• Ensure engineering and build processes align with international quality and cybersecurity standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and ISO 21434.
• Define and govern HBM-specific Quality Management System (QMS) expectations, including reviews, templates, and metrics.
• Own and evolve QMS governance within DataTrail, managing project setup, approval workflows, and administration.
• Lead the modernization of quality processes, tools, and reporting to improve scalability and engineering efficiency.
• Support documentation workflows, requirements traceability, and design governance through SharePoint and EDC repositories.
• Participate in dFMEA (Design FMEA) activities, including the review and approval of risk items.
• Partner with workforce development teams to track and report training compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in memory products, advanced semiconductor development, or system-level silicon programs.
• Strong experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and audit execution.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, technically complex environment.
• Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with High Bandwidth Memory (HBM), advanced memory products, or large-scale, multi-discipline engineering programs.
• Experience with requirements management, traceability systems, and QMS tooling.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence across engineering organizations.
