Principal Engineer (Guidance & Control)

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and direction for guidance and control systems
• Manage departmental capabilities including simulation, tracking systems, and software development (SIL/PIL)
• Mentor engineers across all levels to drive team development and capability growth
• Support flight test activities, including pre-flight preparation, participation, and post-flight performance analysis
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies, methodologies, and algorithms to strengthen G&C capabilities
• Establish and expand engineering infrastructure, laboratories, and supporting tools

Requirements

• 10–15 years of experience in guided weapon systems or advanced aerospace/defence technologies
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Embedded Systems, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering management or technical leadership
• Strong understanding of guided weapon system development and guidance and control engineering
• Expertise in systems engineering and capability establishment in high-technology environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading aerospace or defence organizations
• Expertise in simulation, algorithm development, and mission systems
