About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the verification strategy and execution for one or more GPU subsystems for next-generation mobile GPUs
  • Define comprehensive verification plans, coverage metrics, and sign-off criteria aligned with architectural specifications
  • Architect and implement advanced, scalable verification environments using SystemVerilog, UVM, and C++
  • Develop and maintain testbenches using constrained-random testing, coverage-driven verification, and assertion-based techniques
  • Drive complex debug efforts by analyzing failures across blocks and leading cross-functional collaboration to resolve root causes
  • Mentor engineers and foster a culture of technical ownership and innovation within the team

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree, 13+ years with a Master’s, or 11+ years with a Ph.D. in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in GPU, CPU, or advanced semiconductor design verification
  • Deep expertise in SystemVerilog and UVM, including constrained-random testing and functional coverage
  • Strong understanding of computer architecture and GPU subsystem design and integration
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or Perl
  • Proven track record of achieving multiple first-pass silicon successes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of memory subsystems or coherent interconnects
  • Experience with performance-aware verification or performance profiling
  • Experience with hardware modeling or emulation
  • Demonstrated passion for modern graphics architectures and evolving GPU technologies
