Principal Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve frontend architecture across web and mobile platforms
• Collaborate with engineering leaders on digital platform architecture evolution
• Build tools that deliver engineering efficiency and standardization
• Act as a technical advisor to the Director of Engineering
• Maintain hands-on development to set high quality standards
• Define boundaries, APIs, and integrations between teams, clients, and partners
• Solve complex engineering problems in high-availability, low-latency distributed systems
• Mentor and coach individuals and teams across the company
• Represent technical strategy to business and executive stakeholders

Requirements

• 10+ years of programming experience
• Advanced expertise in designing frontend platforms (mobile, web, SDKs, micro-frontends)
• Expertise in designing and operating large-scale fault-tolerant distributed systems
• Experience with continuous delivery and layered test automation
• Experience with public cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS
• Deep experience in ReactJS
• Experience with Java and NodeJS
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Knowledge of API integration (REST, GraphQL)
• Experience with mobile development (ReactNative, Cordova, Swift, or Kotlin)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
