Principal Engineer, Embedded Software

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain multi-platform device drivers and software projects for embedded systems, including processor, FPGA, and microcontroller-based platforms
• Lead engineering teams through project definition, development, and implementation
• Collaborate with global engineering, marketing, and applications teams to develop new systems and reference solutions
• Provide technical leadership and people management for software engineering teams
• Deliver customer support and contribute to technical training for field personnel and customers

Requirements

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering (EE), Computer Engineering (CE), or Computer Science (CS)
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the design, implementation, and support of embedded software
• Proven technical leadership experience and a track record of delivering large-scale software projects
• Strong experience with Linux subsystems such as IIO, V4L, ALSA, or Ethernet
• Proficiency in C, C++, and shell scripting
• Experience with source-code management tools like Git or SVN
• Strong software architecture, problem-solving, and analytical debugging skills
