Principal Engineer - Electrical

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical services engineering designs for building projects and external utility services within the India – Sweden Services Team.
• Deliver high-quality technical design drawings, engineering designs, and specifications in compliance with required regulations.
• Act as Project Manager on selected projects, managing the successful delivery of multi and single disciplinary projects.
• Perform technical calculations and coordinate with local and international engineers.
• Develop the technical capabilities of the team and provide mentorship to junior engineers.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks to ensure commercial success and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in design peer reviews and internal multi-discipline knowledge sharing initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 12 years of relevant work experience in electrical engineering.
• Proven experience delivering international projects.
• Technical expertise in electrical systems design specifically for the Property and Building sectors.
• Proficiency in BIM software, including Revit (version 2021 and above), AutoCAD, and MEP Revit.
• Advanced technical knowledge of software such as Amtech, Dialux, Dialux Evo, and Relux.
• Strong command of technical terminology and excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MagiCAD for AutoCAD/Revit.
• Membership in an accredited engineering body such as MIET, CIBSE, or ASHRAE.
• Progress toward achieving EngTech, IEng, or Chartered Engineer professional licensure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word.
