Principal Engineer - Design Implementation

Responsibilities

• Lead the design implementation, synthesis, and timing closure for 32-bit microcontrollers within the MCU SoC Design group.
• Develop timing constraints, drive SoC timing budgets, and manage power optimization and formal verification.
• Drive low power implementation and optimization methodologies using UPF/CPF.
• Execute sign-off activities including static timing analysis (STA) and logic verification.
• Collaborate closely with digital, analog, and physical design teams to optimize for performance, power, and area (PPA).
• Enhance and drive synthesis, static timing, and power optimization methodologies for the silicon design group.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in ASIC implementation activities, specifically synthesis and STA.
• Extensive experience in RTL2Netlist implementation flows.
• Strong proficiency with Cadence and Synopsys tools for synthesis and static timing analysis.
• Advanced scripting skills in TCL, Perl, or other relevant programming languages.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
