Principal Engineer, Data Analytics Engineering

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end solutions and lead teams by example
• Design, build, and support platforms for customer analytical needs using Java and/or Python
• Design and support batch processing and streaming data pipelines
• Develop AI-enabled assistants, chatbots, and automation solutions
• Develop Python-based automation services, REST APIs, and backend integrations
• Deploy and support applications on Kubernetes/Edge platforms using GitOps and CI/CD
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements
• Guide team members through technical challenges

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience
• Proficiency in computer science fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures
• Proficiency in Java and/or Python
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL and Big Data technologies like Hadoop and Hive
• Familiarity with agentic AI concepts, tool usage, and Model Context Protocol (MCP)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cloud Platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Proficiency in designing data pipelines using Spark and Kafka
• Experience with Agile software development and Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Strong communication and analytical problem-solving skills
