Principal Engineer Consultant

Responsibilities

• Stay on top of state-of-the-art science and technology for large-scale advertising systems
• Focus on CTR/CVR models, recommendation systems, online learning, and auction design
• Partner with data scientists and ML engineers to identify investment opportunities
• Act as an advisor to teams across the organization to implement solutions
• Participate in the implementation and productionization of selected projects
• Collaborate with product managers to evaluate cost/benefit and risk/reward ratios for AI projects
• Conduct independent experimentation and follow industrial/academic research

Requirements

• Deep experience in the ad tech industry using AI and data science
• Strong communication skills with the ability to teach and explain complex topics
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to align teams on technical solutions
• Expertise in Statistics (regression, statistical analysis) and/or Artificial Intelligence (Machine Learning, Data Mining)
• Ability to critically analyze and implement scientific research
• Strong architectural sense for AI systems
