Principal Engineer, ASIC Pre Silicon Validation

Responsibilities

• Take overall ownership of complete SoC deployment on pre-silicon platforms such as HAPS
• Lead Xilinx FPGA, Vivado, and Protocompiler tool flow implementations
• Partner with Design, SoC C, and Firmware teams to identify implementation needs and plan validation
• Review SoC verification plans for PCIe, LPDDR, and ONFI subsystems
• Develop processor-based SoC prototyping and emulation using C/FW/AE flows
• Run SoC C-based simulations for test case understanding and debugging using VCS
• Write Verilog RTL when required and perform debugging using Xilinx FPGA Vivado Flow
• Utilize Xilinx FPGA debug tools like Chipscope to perform root-cause analysis across hardware and RTL layers

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• Minimum 12+ years of experience in processor-based SoC and hands-on HAPS implementation
• Proficiency in Xilinx FPGA, Vivado Flow, and Protocompiler flows
• Strong Verilog coding skills
• Deep understanding of PCIe, NVME, LPDDR, or ONFI architectures
• Proven experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or TCL
• Strong root-cause analysis skills across hardware and RTL layers

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with HAPS 100
• Thorough knowledge of Xilinx Ultrascale FPGA
• Knowledge of industry standard interfaces such as AXI or ONFI
