Principal Engineer, ASIC Development Engineering

Responsibilities

• Drive verification strategy, create comprehensive test plans, and develop test benches for SoC.
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and pre/post-silicon verification teams.
• Develop C-based tests on SoC and define/meet all functional coverage goals.
• Run and debug gate-level simulations, including power-aware simulations.
• Understand and generate functional patterns for ATE.
• Implement advanced test benches, verification models, scoreboards, and checkers.

Requirements

• BE or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 9-13 years of professional experience in ASIC/SoC development.
• Deep understanding of C, System Verilog, UVM, and coverage-driven verification methodology.
• Proven history of building and improving UVM-based verification methodologies.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, TCL, or BASH.
• Strong knowledge of bus protocols including APB, AHB, and AXI.
• Experience with various interfaces such as PCIe, UART, I2C, SPI, or USB.
• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
